PALAYAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) OIC-Director Dr. Luz Taposok, together with the ATI Training Center Superintendents (TCS), took part in the inauguration and blessing of the new training facility in Region III.
KAUSWAGAN, Lanao Del Norte – Dr. Luz Taposok of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) urged agriculture officials and fellow Filipinos during this year’s Organic Agri-Aqua and Livestock Fair to continue adopting and promoting organic agriculture for a safe food consumption.
“Organic agriculture should be widely adopted. Several studies and researches show the increase in sicknesses and diseases and untimely deaths triggered by foods that contain toxic substances.” Dr. Taposok expressed.
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato – “The gift to touch the life of a stranger whether that be a farmer, an old man, a rural wife – you were given that potential and you need to maximize that potential to do your purpose."
OIC-Director Dr. Luz Taposok of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), emphasized these words during the recently held graduation ceremony of the Agricultural Development and Extension Officers of the Community or AgRiDOCs.
VICTORIA, Laguna – To show support for the celebration of the World Water Day and to demonstrate environmental advocacies, Dr. Luz Taposok and Senator Cynthia Villar led the clean-up drive in Laguna de Bay.
The clean-up drive was dubbed as "Wastewater: The Untapped Resource Needed in Agriculture,” which was followed by a program where Dr. Taposok delivered a speech and emphasized how water equates to life.
“Bawat patak ng tubig ay buhay.” Dr. Taposok said.
PILI, Camarines Sur -- In line with Agriculture Secretary Manny Pinol’s three-point agenda which includes the implementation of fast and effective agricultural technology transfer to farmers, Dr. Luz A. Taposok showed her support during the graduation ceremony and the launching of School-on-the-Air (SOA) programs in the Bicol Region last March 28 and 29, 2017, respectively.
A firm demeanor with soft heart and passion for service... The Center Director of ATI Regional Training in CaLaBaRZon who hails from Bay, Laguna has been with the Institute for 33 years now.
Marites Piamonte-Cosico worked her way up, starting as an Educational Researcher II to the then Philippine Training Center for Rural Development (PTC-RD). She familiarized herself with the different facets of training and extension service, working also as an Agriculturist and a Media Production Specialist before becoming Training Specialist IV.
