ATI participates CVSC Techno Exhibit

In support to the State Universities and Colleges (SUC) undertakings in promoting new educational platforms for students, the Agricultural Training Institute XI (ATI XI) participates in the 2nd Institutional Research Congress and Techno Exhibits of Compostela Valley State College (CVSC) on August 15-16, 2019 at CVSC-Main Campus, Compostela, Compostela Valley Province.

The congress, with the theme “Convergence of Research Diversity and Technological Knowledge towards Sustainable Development” served as a venue for sharing knowledge and innovation generated from the researches of the participating academe, public and private sectors, and civil society.

Highlights of the activity were the contests on Oral Research Presentation; undergrad and high school category, Research Poster Making, Bayong Painting Competition, and booth display. Dr. Marie Jennifer E. Eligio, Deputy Director for Publications Unit of the University of the Philippines (USEP) served as the Plenary Speaker of the research congress.

As one of the exhibitors, the Institute showcased its extension services and programs featuring the technology on e-Learning for Agriculture. Ms. Assel P. Madanguit, Information Officer II and e-Learning Focal Person, presented the overview of the program, stressing its benefits to the student’s educational and research needs.

Further, ATI was able to distribute Information Education Materials (IECs) on different agriculture commodities, as well as showcased videos of successful farmers during the booth display.
