JRMSU for e-Learning: Enabling Students to acquire more knowledge and technology through e-Extension

Together with the establishment of the Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center in Dapitan City last December 2016, the Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) also opened their replica center on the same date.

JRMSU Research, Extension and Development, main objective is to engage their students in e-Extension, specifically in e-Learning and with close coordination with the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center IX (ATI-RTC IX). This objective simply complements the aim of ATI to promote e-Extension in region 9.

With that in mind, ATI-RTC IX conducted a briefing on e-Extension, e-Learning or online course to further explain the program to the faculty, students and employees of the state university.

In her speech, Dr. Evelyn R. Campiseño FfUP, VP for Research, Extension and Development, encourages the faculty, employees and most especially the students to enroll to any online course they may prefer.

Both parties look forward for a mass graduation in the future, because the school plans to make it a requirement for the students.

The e-Extension briefing was made successful last February 24, 2017 at the Audio Visual Room, JRMSU Main Campus, Dapitan City.
