Season-Long TOT on PalayCheck System for AEWs

Below are the schedules of the topics/activities for the Season-Long Training of Trainers on the PalayCheck System. Schedules are subject to change without prior notification.

Updating session for Palaycheck FFS

To ensure that proper application of the PalayCheck System in the next cropping season, the DA-ATI 8 conducted updating session to patch holes in the way the System is being applied and to clarify issues and concerns on its implementation.

Updating Sessions for the PalayCheck Farmers' Field School

The PalayCheck System is one good technique at ensuring that all technologies are being followed by farmers at the various stages of rice production.  Experiences have proven that farmers who completely followed the System got better yield than those who did not.

The System had been tried in past cropping seasons.  While it helped, there is still so much room from growth, especially if and when the System are thoroughly followed.

AEWs trained on PalayCheck

One hundred thirty-six agricultural extension workers of the six provinces in Region Vlll were trained on PalayCheck in December 2008.
