Why are there "finishers" and "quitters" in our e-Learning courses?

Agri students briefed on e-Learning

Southern Leyte State University (SLSU)-Hinunangan Campus. e-Learning Coordinators Dennis Boyd R Baltazar and Hazel Grace T Taganas briefed close to 100 students of the SLSU in Hinunangan, Southern Leyte on the e-Extension Program on June 13, 2013. 

ATI 8 joins VSU anniversary celebration

ATI-RTC 8 prided itself to be part of the Visayas State University (VSU), its host institution.

The center celebrated with VSU on its 88th anniversary.  It co-sponsored two events, the Jackfruit FIESTA (Farms and Industry Encounter through Science and Technology Agenda) and the Farmers and Fisherfolk Day (FFD) during the week-long celebration on August 6-11, 2012.

Another CBDM conducted

One more batch of agricultural extension workers (AEWs) was trained on computer-based data management training to strengthen their skills in Office Productivity application specifically on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  They were also introduced to the web version of the Nutrient Manager for Rice.

The participants revisited the e-Extension program particularly the e-Learning site where they enrolled in courses of their choice.  They were also briefed on the Farmers' Contact Center.

AEWs trained on computer-based data management

ATI 8 commenced its six batches of Computer-Based Data Management training for the agricultural extension workers (AEWs) on September 13-16, 2011 at the ATI training hall.

ATI 8 teams up with ViCARP

As in the past, the Center partnered again with the Visayas Consortium for Agriculture and Resources Program in conducting the basic ICT training to 23 FITS center staff in the region on August 16-19, 2011.

The training was conducted to enable the FITS staff to maximize utilization of the equipment that were turned over to them after the training.  Each FITS center received a computer desktop with  accessories, printer that is also a copier and a fax machine, digital camera, cellular phones and MP recorder.

ATI 8 celebrates with host University

The ATI 8 joined other agencies and organizations in celebrating the 87th Anniversary of the Visayas State University on August 4-11, 2011. The center showed again its support to VSU with its sponsorship in the Farmers and Fisherfolks' Day (FFD).

The FFD was one of the main events in the celebration of the University's founding anniversary, which was participated in by more than three thousand farmers and entrepreneurs.

ATI 8 orients FITS staff on e-Extension

Twenty-eight Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) managers and staff from 13 FITS centers in the region participated the orientation activity on the e-Extension program of the Agricultural Training Institute on July 19-20, 2011 at VSU, Visca, Baybay, Leyte.

TOT participants briefed on e-Extension

The series of training of trainers on AgriPinoy framework became a venue for the e-Extension coordinators (eEC) to promote the e-Extension program of the Department of Agriculture, which is being carried on by the Agricultural Training Institute.
