Abuyog, Leyte. The ATI-RTC 8 together with the DA-RFU 8 has started the season-long Training of Trainers (TOT) on Integrated Crop Production and Pest Management for Corn on April 17, 2013 at the Regional Integrated Agriculture Research Center of the DA-RFU 8.  The training is expected to end in August 2013.

Twenty Gender and Development (GAD) advocates from the municipalities of Calbiga and Hinabangan in Western Samar and the city of Borongan in Eastern Samar participated in the ATI-sponsored training on Banana and Ginger Production, Processing and By-Product Utilization on April 23-25, 2013 at the Visayas State University (VSU), Visca, Baybay City, Leyte.
