HANDOG Program Beneficiaries Trained on Sustainable Livestock Production

85 Recipients Benefit from the Climate Resilient Agriculture Livelihood Project

CABAGAN, ISABELA.  With the goal of making communities resilient to climate change, the Climate Resilient Agriculture Livelihood Project (CRLP) is implemented in six selected municipalities of region 02.  These are the municipalities highly vulnerable to climate change, namely, Uyugan in the province of Batanes, Sta. Maria and Gamu in Isabela, Piat and Enrile in Cagayan and Villaverde in Nueva Vizcaya.

SOA Enrollees Participate in the Method Demonstration on Natural Feed Mix Formulation

CABAGAN, Isabela.  To concretize the lessons taught on-air to the enrollees of the school-on-the air on low-cost swine raising and upgrading native chicken, a series of community fora and method demonstrations on natural feed mix formulation was conducted in selected municipalities of Isabela. 

Training Course on Food Processing and Quality Management

VILLAVERDE, Nueva Vizcaya.  The Training Course on Food Processing and Quality Management with National Competency (NC II) certification was conducted for the beneficiaries of the HANDOG Program in Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya.  This was conducted last July 19-21, 2017. 

CRLP Recipients Appreciate the Use of Vulnerability Assessment

CABAGAN, Isabela.  After the three-day appreciation course on the use of vulnerability assessment, the recipients of the climate resilient agriculture livelihood project (CRLP) realized their vulnerabilities to climate change. 
 
They have experienced multiple hazards from drought, floods, strong typhoons, erosion, and pest and disease outbreak both on plants and animals, which affect their livelihood activities.
