Cabagan, Isabela. A very harworking, serious, dedicated and firm Center Director of the Agriculural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 02 (ATI-RTC2), Mr Renato A. Maguigad is now the Regional Executive Director (RED) of the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Unit 1 (DA-RFU 1) effective yesterday, March 28, 2011. A surprise to every staff, CD Maguigad just announced it last Friday.

San Mateo, Isabela. A latest program of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) provides scholarship to college and post-graduate students. This is under the Capability Building Program (ATI-CBP) of the institute under Special Order No. 63 dated April 7, 2009 of the Department of Agriculture (DA). It offers scholarships for degree and non-degree course in agriculture and fisheries called Youth in Agriculture and Fisheries Program (YAFP) for college students and Expanded Human Resource Developmen Program (EHRDP) for post-graduate students.

Year 2009 is another fruitful year for ATI –RTC Cagayan Valley. As it continues to pursue its mandates as the training arm of the Department of Agriculture and as the lead role in the provision of e-extension, ATI-RTC Cagayan Valley pursued relentless performance in bringing difference in the lives of its clientele despite its meager fund.
