Dignitaries during the ceremonial turn-over, Sec. Alcala, Dr. Quirog, Gov. Dimaporo, Mayor Arnado and some RR Recipients

(From the report of Japeth Mael Alvarez) It has been awhile since the “From Arms to Farms Program” of the Agricultural Training Institute began changing and improving the lives of its recipients. It continues to gain grounds and make lives better. Taking a leaf from the lessons of the program, ATI continues to extend services to more beneficiaries who are sincere in laying down their arms and become productive farmers; inspiring others to put their guns down and invest themselves into farming and agricultural entrepreneurship or agripreneurship. Successful implementors of the Program will also be given additional assistance.
April 23, 2015 is a date to remember, as the ATI-RTC X in a ceremonial turn-over handed over to the Local Government Unit of Kauswagan, Lanao Del Norte (LDN), a Php 1,800,000.00 check to benefit 12 rebel returnees for the enhancement of their farms. Dr. Angelito Y. Quirog, OIC-Center Director of ATI-RTC X headed the turn-over ceremony with Honorable Sec. Proceso J. Alcala of the Department of Agriculture, Governor Mohammad Khalid Q. Dimaporo of Lanao del Norte, Hon. Mayor Rommel C. Arnado of Kauswagan, LDN and the first batch  of rebel returnees who have benefitted in the Post-Training Financial assistance of ATI under the “From ARMS to FARMS Program”.
It is just a manifestation that ATI’s dedication to serve its clients doesn’t stop after a series of technical and financial support. It takes a constant effort to make things better in the community. There are gaps still to be filled-in to achieve progress for everyone in the community. No one should be left behind. ATI remains to be the leading agency in reaching the lives of every Filipino, building their dreams towards a promising future, and changing their lives to inspire others.
