Monitoring and Evaluation
These are undertaken to provide information feedback to management regarding work performance and to facilitate the comparison of actual performance vis-à-vis the work and financial plan. Moreover, results of the evaluation can help management in decision making regarding change in objectives/directions as regards circumstances, adjust policies, institutional arrangements, and resources affecting the implementation of various programs/project.

Training Needs Assessment
This is conducted annually and/or as the need arises to determine the priority training and extension needs of the extension workers in Region 10 and of the clientele, the farm family and fisherfolk. This shall be undertaken either through administration of questionnaires, filling up of Training Needs Matrix, consultations, interviews, etc. Results of the TNA shall be the basis for the development of training programs/courses.

This is to assess the impact of the training at knowledge level; basis for revision / improvement of the training course design for possible future implementation.
