Series of Writeshop on Project Proposal Writing Held

Cogon, Cagayan de Oro City---With the intention to capacitate its roster of Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) as project developers in the field of agriculture in terms of writing a winning project proposal, a Writeshop on Project Proposal Preparation was mounted lately by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X).
 

Project Proposals are necessary to carry on the food security efforts in the country and help decrease poverty incidence in Region-X.

Delivery of Equipment and IEC Materials to FITS Centers in Misamis Occidental

 El Salvador, Misamis Oriental---As partners in disseminating agricultural knowledge, information as well as breakthrough farming technologies to capacitate farmers and AEWs in the countryside, the Information Services team headed by section chief Noemi Beth G. Macario, together with some selected ISS staff and three on the job trainees (OJTs) from CMU namely Raissa Magallanes, Coleen Joloyohoy and Witnegen Borja headed for Misamis Occidental on July 19, 2017 to deliver the equipment to be used for the Rice Crop Manager (RCM) Project.
 

Rebel Returnees turned Farmers in Kauswagan, LdN to Receive More Trainings

Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte---An informal gathering and meeting of minds transpired between a group of rebel returnees turned farmers and with Training Center Superintendent II (TCS II) Angelito Y. Quirog of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) recently.
 

On a general scale, the Municipality of Kauswagan is in need of additional mechanized farming facilities to its farming communities as well as to help the rebel returnees who traded their arms and turned to farming improve their livelihood and living conditions. 

Strengthening Ties and Partnership with CMU

Musuan, Bukidnon---Rising up to the challenge of harnessing the youth to become a potent force in the field of agriculture, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) in collaboration with Central Mindanao University (CMU) mounted a Career Guidance coupled with Team Building as a means to prepare the students in their chosen career path.

Training Center Superintendent-II Angelito Y. Quirog delivered his speech to around a thousand Aggies students, who flocked to the University Convention Center (UCC) of CMU in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon.

RBO and 4-H Club Aims High for a Productive Year Ahead

El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental --- As a deliberate move to make progress and generate updates on the current status of the National and Regional 4-H Club Youth Development Program and Rural Based Organization (RBO) programs and activities as well as assess last year’s accomplishment, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) convened 30 participants for a two-day regional consultative and planning workshop.

LS Operators, Farmers’ word of mouth about ATI piqued more Media Coverage

El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental---As more and more Learning Site (LS) operators, training graduates turned entrepreneurs, and farmer partners of ATI-RTC 10 have been featured in ABS-CBN Northern Mindanao’s morning show “MagTV na, Asenso Ta” , it prompted to veer its spotlight and lens lately to the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 10 (ATI-RTC 10).

FITS ISS Updates website, enrol in e-Learning

Twenty two (22) FITS Information Service Specialists and nine (9) RMIS representatives attended the training on FITS Webpage updating and e-Learning on September 27-29, 2011 at Pearlmont Inn, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de oro City. The training aims to update the individual FITS webpages, inform the staff on the status of the Techno Gabay Program institutionalization and orient them on the e-extension program of the Department of Agriculture.

TOT of Facilitators for FFS on Upland Rice-Based Cropping System for IPs Conducted

A Training of Trainers for Facilitators of Farmer Field School on Upland-Rice based Cropping System for Indigenous People (Module 1) was conducted at NOMIARC, Dalwangan, Malaybalay City on February 21 – March 4, 2011. Fifty-six  (56) participants from Mindanao and Luzon namely Regions III, IV-B, V, IX, X, XI, XII, CAR and CARAGA attended the training.  These participants are expected to implement Module 2 which is a season-long Farmer Field School in their respective provinces this coming Wet Season.

MWIMPC Accredited as Extension Service Provider

The Maranding Women's Investors Multi-Purpose Coorperative (MWIMPC) based in Lala, Lanao del Norte  has been officially accredited by the Agricultural Training Institute as an Extension Service Provider (ESP). The group is the first ESP to be accredited in Region 10. A P200,000 extension grant is scheduled to be released this month. This will be for the conduct of trainings on Farmer Field School on PalayCheck, ICT Literacy for AEWs and on Community Organizing.
