The e-Extension program of ATI has 3 components: e-Farming, e-Trading and e-Learning. e-Farming is the online farm and business adviser. e-Trading is the online agri-fisheries trading place. e-Learning is the online learning place for agri-fisheries technologies and marketing. Currently, only the e-Learning component of the e-Extension program is in place. It aims to modernize agricultural extension by maximizing the power of ICT to bring information to the extension workers, farmers and fishers in the country. The ATI-RTC I has been identified as one of the key centers for the e-Learning program. It has developed an online course on Corn Production. The course covers the major management practices in production like cultural management, pest and disease management and postharvest operations. The course is now open for enrollment.
