ATI, NRCO Ink Partnership Agreement for OFW’s Reintegration Program

In performing their mandates geared towards national development, the National Reintegration Center for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) of the Department of Labor and Employment and the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) collaborated for the implementation of the program “Byaheng Agripreneur.”

The 'Byaheng Agripreneur' program aims to attract OFWs and their families to invest in agriculture. As national training and extension agency, ATI took part in this program in line thematic goal of increasing clients’ access to up-to-date knowledge and information on agriculture and fisheries, and capability building activities, among others. As such, its commitment to the “Byaheng Agripreneur” program includes provision of trainings, resource persons, knowledge products and access to its e-Learning courses under the e-Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries to the beneficiaries of the OFWs.

ATI Director Asterio P. Saliot and NCRO Director Chona M. Mantilla officially entered into a partnership agreement last April 12, 2016 at the ATI Central Office in Diliman, Quezon City.
