 Asst. Dir. Maningding, "ABM" to his subordinates and "Bert" to his colleagues spent the finest years of his life in public service.  With a heart for community and rural development, he started his government career as Barrio Development Worker in 1968.  He then became a Community Development Officer and Training Officer under the Department of Local Government and Community Development.  In 1978, his career with ATI started when he transferred to the Regional Training Center of the PTCRD in La Trinidad, Benguet as Development Educator.

POLOMOLOK, South Cotabato-- The Department of Agriculture through the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) recently gathered the national officers of the 4-H Club of the Philippines for a facilitation skills training and in crafting an agricultural and livelihood project development plan.

The three-day activity served as a venue for the young officers to discuss various issues and concerns relating to their organization and at the same time learn some basic facilitation skills including the implementation of more agricultural and livelihood development plans.
