DILIMAN, Quezon City – Striving for excellence at all times, especially when it comes to serving its clientele, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) pursues certification from the International Organization for Standardizations (ISO).  In this line, ATI conducted an orientation-training on ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) last February 18, 2012 at the Institute’s Central Office.

DILIMAN, Quezon City -- In its pursuit to serve the increasing number of clients, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the soon to be established Rural Development Education Center (RDEC).

"It is time for the Institute to have a new building because of our increasing number of clients since the Bureau of Agricultural Extension (BAEx) existed in 1953", recalled Assistant Director Evelyn Aro-Esquejo during the groundbreaking ceremony. The building will be called the Rural Development Education Center(RDEC).

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) welcomed visitors from the Royal Government of Bhutan who were in the country for a series of training.

The four officials namely Tsheing Doma, Pema Gyeltshen, Jangchuk Chophel and Tandin Dorji were from the Information and Communication Services Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests in Bhutan and they were interested on the various functions of the Institute particularly the delivery of agricultural extension in the country. ATI Director Asterio P. Saliot presented the different programs and services of Institute.

CARCAR, Cebu -- For over six decades now, the 4-H Club of the Philippines has been playing an active role in one of the major thrusts of the Department of Agriculture (DA). One of the development programs provided to them is the International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE) Program for a learning and hands-on experience in an agricultural setting in other countries.

Now, the Philippines has been cited as one of the top 10 countries in the world with a high growth of e-learning revenues, and even cited our e-learning for agriculture and fisheries as one of the contributors in this aspect. In the report "The Asia Market for Self-paced e-Learning Products and Services: 2011-2016 Forecast and Analysis," Philippines is in seventh place in terms of high growth in e-learning.

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – For nearly three decades now, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) has been serving the farmers and fishers of our country -- bringing them the latest farming technologies through extension and education, thereby empowering the whole agricultural sector.

This year marks the 26th founding anniversary of ATI with Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala joining in the celebration as its guest of honor. The anniversary celebration also coincided with the soft-launching of the newly established Learning and Discovery (LeAD) Center of ATI.
