Diliman, Quezon City – To welcome the Women’s Month, six free seminars will be held at the Agricultural Training Institute Central Office (ATI-CO) compound along Elliptical Road on March 2, 2017.

Specifically, these are free seminars on: Virgin Coconut Oil Processing; Vegetable and Fruit Puree Production; Honey Bee Production and Processing; Making Bags and Accessories out of Water Lily; Seaweed Processing; and Herbal Soap Making.

CALOOCAN CITY, Metro Manila – Another community visited equates to the propagation of knowledge on urban gardening. Yesterday, February 15, 2017, marked the first Caloocan City visit of the ATIng Gulayan Street Caravan led by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI).

More than 120 Grade 7, 8, and 10 students of Mt. Heights National High School were taught about the basics of urban gardening. Likewise, they got to experience a hands-on demonstration on how to plant vegetables in some usual household finds like used mineral water bottles.

 Come one, come all. 

The Agricultural Training Institute is holding a free seminar on mushroom production tomorrow, February 10, 2017, in Diliman, Quezon City. An expert from the Bureau of Plant Industry, Ms. Mary Ann Guerrero, will serve as resource person.

The participants are requested to bring clean and empty 1.5 liter plastic bottles that they can donate t0 the ATIng Gulayan sa DA project of the Institute. After the seminar, everyone is invited to tour the ATIng Gulayan project to see how urban gardening can be done in the metro.
