SAN MATEO, Rizal -- The Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) has developed and implemented a comprehensive program to support the rural-based organizations (RBOs) in the country.

For more successful implementation of the RBO programs, the different organizations developed their five-year strategic plans through the Strategic Planning and Consultative Meetings in Support to Rural-Based Organizations, which was initiated by the ATI last February 13 to 18, 2012.

Moreover, the groups presented their reports on the previous national conventions they participated in and shared their insights and learnings from their experiences; planned for the 2012 National Convention and some agreements on the resolution of issues and concerns were gratified.
