Unlike all other endings, this one calls for a greater challenge to farm owners and raisers to be eager and take the lead in applying or sharing the knowledge, skills and experiences gained to their constituents and beyond in the years to come.

Some 20 participants -- agricultural extension workers and academicians from national and local government agencies, and the state universities and colleges (SUCs) -- completed the 16th National Trainors Course on Pig Husbandry. The course aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of these participants on pig production and extension. In the end, it is expected that these graduates would transfer the gained knowledge and skills to the farmers and students, following the "multiplier effect".
