SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya – From the 16 Farm Business School launched during the 2nd cycle of implementation of the project “Capacity Building of Small Farmers in Entrepreneurship Development and Market Access,” a total of 386 farmers graduated from the training course in Nueva Vizcaya.

PALAYAN CITY – The Farm Business School (FBS) as an extension activity is geared towards entrepreneurship and marketing of farmers’ products. From the 21 FBS launched in nueva Ecija during the second cycle of implementation, a total of 488 farmers graduated from the course.

MUNOZ, Nueva, Ecija – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) together with Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) and International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) conducted a Knowledge Sharing and Learning activity in support of the project ““Improving Technology Promotion and Delivery through Capability Enhancement of the Next-Generation of Rice Extension Professionals and Intermediaries.”
The project mainly aims to recognize and capacitate the rice input dealers to be a part of the agricultural extension system and eventually help the government in reaching the rice farmers. Some ICT-based resources and tools on rice and agriculture were presented during the activity to provide these rice extension intermediaries with the latest information and technologies on rice.
The activity was conducted last October 8 to 9, 2014 in PhilRice, Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
