Knowledge-sharing, Collaborative Learning for Better Info Services
DILIMAN, Quezon City – To start the year on the right track, the Information Services (IS) group of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) convened for its annual knowledge-sharing and collaborative learning activity dubbed as “IS Limitless: 1st Knowledge Management (KM) Updates for 2017.”
Part of the undertaking is the discussion and presentation of updates related to the IS programs and activities for 2017. Awards were distributed to training centers with the highest website pageviews, e-Learning enrollees and graduates, best local media presence and best social media presence. In their acceptance speech, the winners shared their strategies in attaining their respective accomplishments.
In strengthening its information dissemination activities, the participants also created radio plugs that promote the various programs and services of the Institute. Also, to boost the public relations (PR) efforts of ATI, a lecture and workshop was also held where participants from each Regional Training Center drew up PR strategies in their respective localities. The group also headed to the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction for the team-building and collaborative learning activity that tested their teamwork, problem-solving skills, innovative thinking and creativity.
In a video message, ATI OIC-Director Luz Taposok urged the IS group to defy their limits as they fulfill their responsibilities as the mouthpiece of the Institute. The activity was held from February 15 to 17, 2017.
