Affirming Commitment to 2017 Extension Efforts for RBOs
During their 2016 Annual Assessment and Planning Workshop, RBO coordinators from the ATI's network of training centers recommended more innovative ways to achieve the government’s thrust of uplifting the lives of farmers and fishers in the countryside through enhanced and worthwhile initiatives that are suitable to their needs. Aside from this, they also looked back on their accomplishments for the year, discussed issues related to the implementation of various programs and projects, set plans and directions for the upcoming year, and finalized guidelines and protocols for RBO Innovative Programs such as those for the ATI’s extension providers, farm camps and farm family modelling.
ATI Deputy Director Alfredo S. Aton also spoke to the participants, sharing some words of encouragement during the activity organized by the Partnerships and Accreditation Division last December 6 to 8, 2016 at the Rural Development Education Center at the ATI Compound.
