JAECAAP Sets New Organizational Directions

CEBU CITY — The 7th Japan Agricultural Exchange Council Alumni Association of the Philippines (JAECAAP) National Convention served as a way to strengthen support among its members as they laid out new plans for the years to come. The convention was spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) as one of the activities supported by the Institute for rural-based organizations.

4-H Club of the Philippines, Determined to ‘Make the Best Better’

PHILIPPINES – Hundreds of members of the 4-H Club of the Philippines convened in summer camps, workshops, forums, and other related events in various localities around the country. This was an effort of the Agricultural Training Institute, through its Regional Training Centers (RTCs), to continuously empower young farmers and agricultural enthusiasts in the country.

This is why the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) invited recently some 35 Gawad Saka Outstanding Young Farmer awardees for the last years from 15 regions to attend the National Training on Farm Tourism and Organic Farming last March 11 to 13, 2014.
