Women in Agriculture Celebration Caps Off with Farm Tour

SAN ILDEFONSO, Bulacan – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), together with members of Rural Improvement Clubs from various regions in the Philippines celebrated the last hurrah of the Women in Agriculture Symposium through a farm tour at Duran Farm on March 3, 2017.

The 53 participants were briefed and toured by the owner herself, Desiree Duran. Starting off with an orientation, Duran shared how she started farming, which has proven to give inspiration to other women farmers.

ATI Offers Free Seminars to Celebrate Women in Agriculture

Diliman, Quezon City – To welcome the Women’s Month, six free seminars will be held at the Agricultural Training Institute Central Office (ATI-CO) compound along Elliptical Road on March 2, 2017.

Specifically, these are free seminars on: Virgin Coconut Oil Processing; Vegetable and Fruit Puree Production; Honey Bee Production and Processing; Making Bags and Accessories out of Water Lily; Seaweed Processing; and Herbal Soap Making.
