 Ang Agricultural Training Institute ay muling nakikiisa sa pagpugay ng ating bansa sa mga Pilipinong magsasaka at mangingisda lalo na ngayong Buwan ng Pagdiriwang mula ng nailabas ang Proclamation no. 33 noong Marso 21, 1989.

Ang ating mga kasama sa agrikultura at pangingisda ay patuloy nating kinikilala at pinupuri sa kanilang mahalagang kontribusyon para sa ikauunlad ng ating bansa. Dahil sa kanila, may pagkain tayo sa ating hapag-kainan araw-araw.

Mabuhay ang ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda!

Free Seminar on Mushroom Production

 Come one, come all. 

The Agricultural Training Institute is holding a free seminar on mushroom production tomorrow, February 10, 2017, in Diliman, Quezon City. An expert from the Bureau of Plant Industry, Ms. Mary Ann Guerrero, will serve as resource person.

The participants are requested to bring clean and empty 1.5 liter plastic bottles that they can donate t0 the ATIng Gulayan sa DA project of the Institute. After the seminar, everyone is invited to tour the ATIng Gulayan project to see how urban gardening can be done in the metro.

e-Learning Site Advisory

The Agriculture and Fisheries e-Learning Portal ( is scheduled for a major upgrade of its front and backend starting May 2. This is in keeping with ATI's commitment to its partners and clientele of providing a more beneficial online learning experience.


New Edition of Organic Agriculture Directory to be Out Soon

The Department of Agriculture through the Agricultural Training Institute and the Spread Organic Agriculture in the Philippines (SOAP) Movement will be releasing the second edition of the only Organic Agriculture Directory in the country.
After it has been launched during the 9th National Organic Agriculture Congress in Cebu last November 2012, the directory has been in demand for all farmers, producers and suppliers, even consumers who are into organic farming and who are planning to venture into organic agriculture.

As the Celebration of Women Continues: ATI Holds Free Seminars on Various Agricultural Topics

QUEZON CITY – As of 9:10 AM, 186 participants have joined the simultaneous free seminars on various agriculture topics which is being held at Agricultural Training Institute, Diliman, Quezon City today, March 2, 2017.
As part of the week-long celebration of Women’s Month, the free seminars are in line with activity of the Agricultural Training Institute's (ATI) Women in Agriculture Symposium with the theme “Honoring Trailblazing Women in Agriculture” on February 28 – March 3, 2017.

Celebrating Women in Agriculture: ATI Opens Women's Month Celebration with Symposium

QUEZON CITY – A total of 84 participants attended the opening of Women in Agriculture Symposium on March 1, 2017 as part of the Agricultural Training Institute’s week-long celebration of Women’s Month held at Rural Development and Education Center, ATI Building, Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City.
Rural women comprised of farmers, Rural Improvement Club members and extension workers joined the event which celebrated their contribution to the development of the agriculture sector in the country.

Infographic, short for information graphic, has been widely used by many organizations as graphic visual representation of an information, knowledge or data to show complex information in simple patterns and trends (wikipedia).

Name Your Rice Extensionist Contest Deadline Extended

In its pursuit to develop a new breed of extension workers whose specialization is on rice production technologies, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) came up with a naming contest that will be referred to the new rice extensionists.

Philippines is 95th in UN e-Government Survey 2014

QUEZON CITY, Philippines -- In the recent e-Government survey of the United Nations among its 193 member countries, South Korea ranked number 1 with best initiatives specifically on online public service delivery, e-participation of its contituents, collaborative governance, mobile delivery, digital inclusion and open government data.

Philippines is not lagging behind as it ranked 95th among these countries worldwide with best e-government initiatives and 54th in terms of citizen participation.
