 In Celebration of the 43rd National Nutrition Month, the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 joined in the Mass Feeding Program of the Agusan National High School (ANHS), Butuan City. 

Climate-resilient livelihood project launch in AgNor

The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 13 recently conducted the Phase I and II of the Climate-Resilient Agriculture Project in Butuan City and Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. The Phase I project specifically titled as ‘Identification of Sustainable Livelihood Project in the Community for Climate-Resilient Agriculture. It aimed to formulate a climate-resilient livelihood for the community.

ATI holds Skills Training on Cassava Processing in SurSur

The Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center 13 currently conducted a skills training on cassava processing in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur on May 31 to June 2. 

ATI-RTC 13 staff participate in VOW

 Two (2) ATI-Caraga staff  specifically from the Career Development and Management Section (CDMS) and Information Services Section (ISS) attended in the Values Orientation Workshop (VOW) batch 2 held in the Agricultural Training Institute Central Office on April 26-28, 2017.  Said sections were represented by Ms. Paula Mae Creencia and Ms. Ginalyn Arbutante, respectively. 

SOA on swine production launch in SurSur

 In coordination with the Provincial Agriculture and Veterinary Offices of Surigao del Sur, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) successfully conducted the briefing and launching activity in Tandag, SDS on April 21.

Senior Citizens experience love and care through ATI’s Feeding Program

 Shelter the homeless, comfort the afflicted, feed the hungry, visit the sick and forgive offenses, these are some of the inspirational adages posted on the wall of the Divine Mercy Church  inside the Jesus King of Mercy Homecare  Foundation Inc. in Brgy. Orok, Surigao City. They took care of the elderly especially to those homeless and abandoned one as reflected with their burning passion of helping others. 

AEWs generate more RCM recommendations

 The participants from the two batches of RCM training generated 187 RCM recommendations that were explained to the farmers specifically on the fertilizer application.

Caraga AEWs undergo Region-wide Training for RCM Use and Operations

Twenty-four (24) Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in Caraga currently trained for the use and operation of the Rice Crop Manager (RCM) in the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Caraga, Los Angeles, Butuan City on March 20-23, 2017.  

Partner-Agencies convene for the 1st Quarter RAFEN meeting

 The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 successfully conducted the 1st Quarter RAFEN meeting on March 17, 2017. This was well represented by the personnel from the National partner-agencies, Local Government Units (LGUs) and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

LS Cooperators’ Skills Training: A Success

There were forty (40) participants comprising Learning Site (LS) Cooperators and other interested farmers in Caraga who joined in the 3-day training on Facilitation Skills and Assessment of Learning Sites.
