Training on Integrated Diversified Organic Farming Systems

The Agricultural Training Institute Region IV-A conducted the Training on Integrated Diversified Organic Farming Systems (IDOFS) last March 13 – 16, 2017 at Ouan's The Farm Resort Lucena City. The activity was participated by 18 farmers and 2 Agricultural Extension Workers from the province of Quezon. It aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants on organic agriculture as a sustainable farming system.

Lectures and discussions about IDOFS were discussed by Mr. Ruy Valente Polistico, Magsasaka Siyentista  (MS) from Amadeo, Cavite; Mr. Sancho Buncha, MS, Quezon Province and Mr. Philip Reyes, Farm Manager and OA Practitioner from Imus, Cavite.  Part of the training was a farm visit to Ka Mulong’s Farm in Sariaya, Quezon, one of the ATI Accredited OA Learning sites.
