Banana: Food Staple Crop Takes the Center Stage

TANAY, RIZAL- Last April 23-24,2013, a Skills Training on Banana Production and Utilization in Support to GAD was conducted for thirty  (30) selected farmer leaders from Rizal Province together with their Agricultural Technicians. It was held at the Bakasyunan Resort in Tanay,Rizal. A general overview of the different varieties of banana was provided including banana tissue-culture.
