ATI, DAR partner on Farm Business School

CAMARINES SUR- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 5 was tapped by the Camarines Sur 2 provincial office of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) as one of its partners for the conduct of the latter’s Farm Business School (FBS).
The Farm Business School aims to equip the participating farmer beneficiaries with skills and knowledge in adding value to their commodities to command higher premium. In addition, they will be taught how to market their products to maximize their income.

ATI-RTC 5 OIC Center Director Vivien Carable lauded DAR for spearheading such project as she commits to fulfill its responsibility particularly in providing trainings for their facilitators. On the other, DAR OIC Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer  Engr. Manuel Nebreja, acknowledged the crucial role of ATI in its endeavor as both agencies have similar mandate which is to uplift the lives of the farmers.

Aside from ATI, other partner agencies are the Department of Agriculture and the local governments units of Ocampo and Garchitorena, where the FBS will be held.

The launching of the FBS was done at Brgy. Gatbo, Ocampo and last June 8 and Garchitorena Municpal Hall, Garchitorena last June 9.
