The Center can be reached by land and air transportation. It is approximately 530 kilometers from Metro Manila and about 45 minutes by plane to the Naga and Legazpi Airports. From these cities, ATI-Bicol can be reached by bus ride.
The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) in Region 5 was formerly located at the highway side of the Bicol University College of Agriculture and Forestry (BUCAF) in Guinobatan, Albay. Bordered by the City of Ligao and the Municipality of Camalig, Guinobatan is only 25 kilometers from Legaspi, known as the Gateway City to Bicol because of its nationally strategic location.
In December 2013, the ATI-Bicol transferred to its office along the Diversion Road, San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur. Adjacent to the Department of Agriculture's (DA) Regional Seedling Nursery, the ATI-Bicol's strategic location allows it to work more closely with the DA-Regional Field Office V in San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur. In fact the the area where the ATI-Bicol building was constructed government property owned by the DA-RFO V. ATI-Bicol is accessible to all provinces in the region. Visitors to the Center from the islands of Masbate and Catanduanes can take the ferry boat which regularly ply the route to the seaports in Bulan and Pilar, Sorsogon and Tabaco City respectively. Likewise, the Camarines provinces have easy access to the Training Center by any means of land transportation.
