Blog Support: How to Create a Photo Album, Part 3

This is part three of creating your photo album here using Vacilando's brilliant gallery. This blog-tutorial is the last of three parts . It contains workarounds for more advanced cutomizations when creating photo albums in this blogsite. The steps would require that you work in the "source" or html side. As in the part 1 and part 2, I shall use the same gallery so you can compare. The album has 8 photos and is served via Picasa web.

Paragraph below an album

To add a line or paragraph right after an album, like here, put the tag  <br clear="all" />  before the first line. Otherwise you'll have the lines sticking to the edge of the album.

Paragraph beside an album

If you want to include a paragraph right beside the album without sticking to the edges, enclose the brilliant gallery in this div tag
<div style="border: 0; margin: 0px; padding-right: 25px; width: 150px; background-color: transparent; float: left;">the-bg-tag</div>

The width element would refer to the combined widths of the thumbnails in pixels.

Placing the album at right

By default, the album is loaded and read left to right. If you want to style your album so it starts at the right side of the page, enclose the brilliant gallery tag element within a div like this <div style="float: right;">the-bg-tag</div>

Placing a paragraph beside an album flushed right

To include a paragraph beside the flushed right album without sticking to the edges, enclose the brilliant gallery in this div tag
<div style="border: 0; margin-right: 18px; padding-left: 25px; width: 150px; background-color: transparent; float: right;">the-bg-tag</div>

The width element here refers also to the combined widths of the thumbnails in pixels.

These are workarounds for this blogsite. I don't make any guarantees that they'll also work in other installations.
