PASAY CITY, Metro Manila – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) once again partners with Agriculture Magazine and Manila Bulletin in the promotion of Filipino farming technologies through the Urban Agriculture expo.
The two-day event will showcase different agricultural products and technologies from around 50 exhibitors from government agencies and private institutions nationwide. Aside from the exhibit, seminars and special demos will also be conducted for the registered 5,800 participants.
DILIMAN, Quezon City—The 3rd AgriTalk 2017, held through the partnership of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and Agriculture Magazine of the Manila Bulletin Publishing Corp., served as an avenue to showcase various farming technologies and practices from different parts of the country.

PUERTO PRINCESA, Palawan – With the recently concluded training and assessment on national competency, Rice Machinery Operations and Maintenance (RMO NC II), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and the Western Philippines University (WPU) are partnering again for another training. DILIMAN, Quezon City – Shoppers from Metro Manila flocked the stalls of around 90 farmers and agricultural organizations during the two-day “TienDA Farmers and Fisherfolk Outlet” at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Compound.
Spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture (DA), TienDA features fresh fruits, vegetables, rice, and other agricultural and fishery products from different farms nationwide sold at farm gate prices. This new marketing scheme ensures that farmers’ products can be directly sold to the consumers in urban areas without the intervention of middlemen.
DILIMAN, Quezon City – What are the uses of cassava? Apparently, there are many.
In his lecture on the recommended practices in cassava production, Dr. Candido Damo, Department of Agriculture’s (DA) technical consultant on cassava production, cited the different uses of this crop, "Apart from food products, cassava is often used in making animal feeds. It can also be used in manufacturing alcohol, medicine, textile, biodegradable products, monosodium glutamate, glue, and plywood."
