TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite—As part of the efforts to improve institutional linkages of government agencies for better governance and sustainability of rural situation, the scholarship on Masters in Public Management, Major in Rural Development (MPM-RD) was granted to another batch of students.
A total of 114 government employees engaged in rural development work from the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) were part of this fourth and latest leg of the scholarship program.
TAGAYTAY CITY – With her expertise in various academic disciplines particularly agricultural extension and rural development, OIC-Director Luz A. Taposok of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) recently served as a panel member during the Rural Development Action Plan and Project (RDAPP) Proposal Defense of the Master in Public Management major in Rural Development (MPM-RD) Scholarship Program Batch 4.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
