POLICY BRIEF: Evaluation of the ATI’s Learning Site Program in Luzon and Visayas

This Policy Brief presents the results of an evaluation study on the Establishment of Learning Sites (LS) Program in Luzon and Visayas. It was conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute, in partnership with Dr. Romeo Santos and Mr. Bienvenido Manzares, Jr. The study focused on evaluating the program design, implementation, and outcomes.
Findings indicate the program’s positive success in achieving its objective and its relevance to the community, based on the feedback of the LS cooperators. However, some action points were identified to improve the program implementation. These include: reviewing the program documents and guidelines, selection criteria and requirements, the program’s scope and coverage, the certification process; establishing a defined monitoring and evaluation system; as well as harmonizing its definitions and terms.
Hence, the study’s Approach and Methodology, Key Findings, and Recommendations are discussed comprehensively in this document.
