STA. JOSEFA, Agusan del Sur – The province of Agusan del Sur through the Provincial Agriculture and Veterinary Office (PAVO) plans to install Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) as one of the most promising tools to develop local organic markets.

This was hosted by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 which was held at Almont Inland Resort in Butuan City.

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture.
