LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- With an aim of harmonizing programs among extension service providers of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and determining the needed trainings among stakeholders, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted the provincial consultations and planning workshops on July 9-17, 2019.

DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental – The Agricultural Training Institute as the focal agency in extension service delivery is obliged to make sure that the delivery of quality extension services has been strategically carried out in the field.
CABADBARAN CITY. As part of the intervention to the Indigenous People (IP), the training on Organic Agriculture for Indigenous Peoples was conducted on June 19 – 21, 2019 at Social Hall, Cabadbaran City.
SAN ISIDRO, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte – Rural women here learned another profitable way of making money from selling rice - by processing it into delicious kakanin which could earn them a 25% net income. This realization was brought about by the Skills Training on Rice-based Processing for Rural Women and RIC which was held in the said town from June 18-20, 2019.
BUTUAN CITY - The Department of Agriculture (DA) is mandated to promote agricultural development through the provision of support services to improve productivity and income of the farmers and other stakeholders. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted a Skills Training on Handicraft-Making for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) on June 17-19, 2019.
SUKAILANG, Surigao City – There were 31 participants comprise of Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) and farmers from the Province of Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte who joined the Training on Organic Agriculture (OA) Production Technologies Batch 3 where JADAM, a low cost and environment-friendly Korean technology was introduced.
SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte – A total of twenty-five (25) individuals comprising farmers and Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) attended in the Training on Sustainable Corn Production in Sloping Areas (SCoPSA) on June 3 – 5, 2019 at Parkway Hotel, Surigao City.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
