ATI in the Davao Region
Teachers and students of Compostela Valley State College (CVSC), College of Agriculture Program in Compostela, Compostela Valley Province registered on the e-learning for Agriculture and Fisheries website after attending an orientation on the e-Extension Program of the Agricultural Training Institute.
ATI XI inaugurates 4H Learning Hub; “First among other ATI training centers nationwide”, said Taposok
Agricultural Training Institute National Director Dr. Luz A. Taposok lauded ATI XI for the fast completion of its 4H Learning Hub, after announcing that the training center is the first to inaugurate among other ATI regional counterparts nationwide.
Twenty-five graduates of the Regional Roll-out of Enabling the AgriDOC: “A New Breed of Agricultural Development Officers of the Community” Program, carried out by the Agricultural Training Institute Regional Training Center XI (ATI-RTC XI) are ready to conquer rice farming communities after completing the intensive season-long training on rice production.
The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI (ATI-RTC XI), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Regional Office XI (DA-RFO XI), has given away native free-range chickens to School-on-the- Air (SOA) on Chicken Production graduates in Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, Banaybanay, Davao Oriental and Pantukan, Compostela Valley Province on October 27, 2018.
A consensus was achieved between the Agricultural Training Institute XI and its various stakeholders with regards to the trainings and other extension services for next year.
This is after the regional training center held its Regional Stakeholders Consultation on the Training and Other Extension Activities for 2019-2020 last October 16-17,2018.
Seventy-five cacao farmers from Panabo City, Davao del Norte toured three of the most successful cacao farms in Calinan District, Davao City on October 18, 2018 to learn good agricultural practices .
The said farmers were students of the Farm Field School (FFS) on Cacao Production and Processing, a component activity of the Training of Trainers on Cacao Production with NC II.
