EL SALVADOR CITY, Misamis Oriental---Culminating the Season-Long Farmers’ Livestock School on Meat and Dairy Goat Production and Dairy Herd Management, a total of 43 graduates consisting of livestock raisers in Northern Mindanao were in attendance today, Wednesday October 10.

SAN MATEO, Isabela. Thirty agricultural extension workers were equipped on food safety and are now ready to promote the Republic Act 10611 or the Food Safety Act of 2013. The training on food safety for livestock extension workers was conducted on October 1-5, 2018 at ATI-RTC 02 in this municipality.
NASIPIT, Agusan del Norte - The Farmer Scientists Training Program (FSTP) Phase I aimed to give farmers direct contact with agricultural experts to develop their technical and scientific capabilities to improve their present farming practices to ensure a more sustainable development in the rural areas.
Availability of high quality seeds is one of the major constraints in rice production. For this reason, farmers use seeds from their own harvest for the next planting season. Owing to the low quality of the seeds, farmers are deprived of the full yield potential of the crop. Knowledge and skills on how to improve seed health will significantly increase yield.
