BARBARA, Pangasinan – In response to the institute’s core values which is innovation and excellence, the Agricultural Training Institute–Regional Training Center I administered the Training on Developing Winning Proposals for Project Support held on August 5-9, 2019 at ATI-RTC 1, Tebag East, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.
Province of Bukidnon---With malnutrition and hunger considered as persistent problems that our country encounters, the Department of Education (DepEd) came up with the Gulayan sa Paaralan (GPP) Program which introduced to all public elementary and secondary schools nationwide the promotion of food security and economic stability.
Malaybalay City, Bukidnon--- While engaging in conventional or modern technological agriculture, the youth of today needs to be more responsible not only in the family household, but more so in the farm and other family agricultural business venture. This is one of the strategies needed in the farm family approach to agricultural business.
Baybay City, Leyte – Raising livestock is one of the common businesses one can engage in. However, feeds and its ever increasing prices are often the downfall of these supposedly promising agri-business.

Tagbilaran City – The Agricultural Training Institute – VII (ATI-7) being the training arm of the Department of Agriculture is happy to announce the recent blessing and turn-over of two-story institutional building on August 15, 2019. Maasin City, S. Leyte - With the rising commercialization of conventional practices in poultry and livestock management, “Go back to the basics” is the government’s battle cry in promoting the production of safer and healthier meat, eggs, and milk and the preservation and promotion of native breeds of poultry and livestock.
A total of 520 farmers and other stakeholders from various municipalities and cities of Region XI graduated from the School On-the-Air (SOA) on Hybrid Rice Production. The mass graduation ceremony was held on August 9, 2019 at Felis Resort Complex, Davao City.
Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon---Showcasing knowledge sharing and benchmarking which intended to expose and immerse participants to the different Learning Sites (LS) of Northern Mindanao, a group of farmers from Siquijor recently did their expository tour on organic farms in the region.
Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental---As the training and extension arm of the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) through its centers is currently conducting series of financial literacy training to the identified provinces in the country where farmers are the top most priority.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – True to its mandate of harmonizing the agriculture and fishery extension system in the region, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 conducted the first semester meeting of the Regional Agriculture and Fishery Extension Network (RAFEN) yesterday.

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
