Lantapan, Bukidnon---To stimulate innovation, worker performance and experience an increased well-being among employees, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) through the Career and Development Management Section (CDMS) conducted a training on Transformational Leadership and Management at the Binahon Agrofrestry Farm (BAFF) in Lantapan, Bukidon.
BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - Meat has always been the star of any typical Filipino meal. According to Rappler, a Filipino consumes about 14.2 kg of pork, two kg more than the world’s average pork consumption. Served processed or not, it cannot be denied that most Filipinos eat meat.
ILOILO/CAPIZ – A total of 100 college students taking up Bachelor of Science in Agricullture and Veterinary Medicine were oriented on ATI’s e-extension services specifically on the e-learning component. e-Learning offers free online courses on crops, fisheries, social technology, sustainable agriculture, and livestock.
KALIBO, AKLAN – Twenty-one Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from various Municipalities of Regions VI, VII and VIII identified as New Seed Inspectors for Visayas last November 22, 2019 at Bee Bee Lodge, Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan.
Antipolo City, Rizal – Dubbed as Talakayang Organiko sa Rizal, 542 learners from city/municipalities of Rizal province graduated from School on Air (SOA) on Organic Agriculture (OA). “I am very grateful sa Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) CaLaBaRZon for this SOA. Honestly, it’s very informative, very helpful, it enlightens me of so many things.
SAN MATEO, Isabela. After an evaluation conducted for the nominees for the Young Filipino Farmers Training Program in Japan (YFFTPJ), two 4H members luckily passed the qualification requirements.
Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna---To promote agriculture as a decent and income-generating profession among young Filipinos, a national quiz bee via Kabataang OA was mounted recently. The said quiz bee is one of its strategies to promote indigenous but economically viable technologies that will entice the youth to pursue a career in farming.

ATI-RTC XII capacitates Learning Site Cooperators on Inbred Rice Seed Production, Farm Mechanization
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- The Agricultural Training Institute, being the lead agency in the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund’s (RCEF) extension component, is simultaneously conducting a Training of Trainers (TOT) on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Farm Mechanization through its Regional Training Centers.
SAN MATEO, Isabela. Two season-long Farmers’ Field School on Good Agricultural Practices on Lowland Vegetables Production had their culminating activity in November. Said FFS were conducted in partnership with the Local Government Units of Maddela, Quirino and Jones, Isabela.

BANGA, Aklan – Thirty 4H Club Members learned the dynamics on food processing during the Training on Fruits and Vegetables Processing for Young Farmers last November 16 to 18, 2019 at ATI Region 6’s 4H Hub, ASU Compound, Banga, Aklan.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture.
