TANTANGAN, South Cotabato - This year, ATI’s celebration of its 32nd founding anniversary with a theme “Sustaining Vibrant Agricultural Productivity through Harmonized and Proactive Extension Services” was celebrated by its personnel by region.
Seven farms from the different parts of the region have been added to the partners of ATI as Learning Sites for Practical Agriculture.
In the Isabela, the GENRAM Farms and Angela’s Farm received their Learning Site Certificate last January 16, 2019 during the launching of Roberto’s Farm School in Alibagu, City of Ilagan.
SAN ANDRES, Quezon- Aimed to provide fast access of up-to-date agriculture and agriculture-related information and knowledge, the Farmers' Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center in San Andres, Quezon was launched last January 28, 2019.
All beneficiaries of Extension Program Agriculture and National Development (ExPAND) will soon receive their post-training starter kits as delivery of agricultural supplies is on-going and set to be completed on February.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Looking forward to a joyous celebration on its 32nd anniversary, a special day of preparation was declared by Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI – RTC) 13 to all its employees on January 25, 2019.
"With this 2-day activity, we were able to align our programs. Last year, we are always having conflicts with our schedules on this program because we have not synchronized our activities. Now that we have this consultation, we were able to resolve conflicts and issues that will make our program implementation for the year better”, Mr. Victor D.
ATI Compound, El Salvador City---Fresh from undergoing a gruelling ISO certification in a special audit activity of the center by TUV-SUD Philippines just this January 11, the center through OIC-Center Director Maria Lydia A. Echavez welcomed and intends to extend full support to newly appointed Director IV Alfredo S. Aton.
KORONADAL CITY - The Agricultural Training Institute- XII successfully aired its first live episode of the Free-Range Chicken Radio Program last January 24, 2019 over DXOM, Koronadal City. It was simultaneously aired in three other radio stations: DXND for our North Cotabato Province listeners; DXCP for Sarangani Province, DXMS for Cotabato City area and Maguidnanao Province.
EL SALVADOR CITY, MISAMIS ORIENTAL--- The 32nd Anniversary of the Agricultural Training Institute will be held simultaneously at the ATI Central Office and the 16 Network of Training Centers all over the country. For ATI-RTC X, the celebration will be on January 29-30, 2019 at El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental. The event promises to be both informative and fun.

BUTUAN CITY – Farmer participants of Season-Long Climate Smart Farm Business School (CSFBS) last June – October 2018 from San Isidro, Tandag City conducted a benchmarking activity at Farm Family Approach on Resource Management for Sustainability (FFARMS) located at Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13, Los Angeles, Butuan City.
GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Led by Ms. Remedios C. Amilao - Administrative Officer IV, Francis H. Iriarte – Accountant, and Aurea Janine P. Abucay – Budget Officer, all from Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 joined the ATI Fiscal Year 2018 Closing of Books on January 15-18, 2019 at Sarangani Highlands, Purok Wal, Tambler, General Santos City.
SUKAILANG, Surigao City – JB Nature Farm and Resort, a place of sanctuary and refreshment, owned by Engr. Woodrow Escobal was visited by the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 staff on January 11, 2019 as one of the highlights during the Center’s Year-end Management Performance Review last January 9-11, 2019.
SILANG, Cavite- Munting Ilog National High School (MINHS) in Silang, Cavite is the 1st DepEd School certified as Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) in CALABARZON.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 will be conducting a 3-day training on organic vegetable production on February 6-8, 2019 at ATI Caraga Training Hall, Los Angeles, Butuan City.
With its constant aim to provide excellent services and customer satisfaction to clients, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI (ATI-RTC XI) takes pride in achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification for the Quality Management System (QMS) after the special audit conducted by TÜV SÜD, an internationally recognized certification body, on January 21, 2019.

SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur -The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently conducted a post assessment of the TIER II program that was implemented in the province of Agusan del Sur for 2 years which runs from 2017-2018.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
