LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- Two sections of Grade 12 students from Los Angeles National High School (LANHS) take the e-Learning courses at the e-Learning Lounge of the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 just this month.
SUMILIHON, Butuan City–The Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) is implemented in various schools to boost the awareness of the students on the significance of vegetable production and consumption. These school gardens also serve as ready-food baskets of the feeding programs to address malnutrition.
E. Visayas - There are many opportunities for Rural-Based Organizations (RBOs) to earn more income for their families’ needs. One is through food processing as value addition for their farm produce. Hence, the Agricultural Training Institute conducted the Training on Rice-based Food Processing to teach RBO members that there is more to rice than just grains being sold in the market.

In support to Republic Act 10068 or Organic Agriculture Act of 2010, ATI Region 6 in cooperation with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) conducted the Skills Enhancement on Organic Agriculture Technologies for Competency Assessment last August 26 to 30, 2019 at Connie Carillo Diversified Farm, Bingawan, Iloilo.

The Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with the Villar Sipag Foundation, intensified the campaign on the use of climate smart technologies through the conduct of Climate Smart Farm Business School (CSFBS) on August 12-23, 2019 in Redd Manor and Otel Pampanga, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Seeing the need to promote agriculture to the new generation, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI (ATI- RTC XI) conducted series of vegetable gardening trainings with after-training support to some elementary schools in the region to aid them in the establishment of their “Gulayan sa Paaralan” project.

BANGA, Aklan - A tree growing activity participated by ATI employees, Polo Brgy Council and the participants of the Pagkabaeaka sa Kagueangan, Kabukiran, Kaeanasan ag Katunggan (4Ks) Program was held. BOHOL. A two-day activity dubbed as Fiscal Year 2020 Budget Execution and Planning Workshop was conducted by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 7 (ATI-RTC 7) at Bohol Bee Farm, Dauis, this province last August 22-23, 2019.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
