CONCHITA HOTEL, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, February 20, 2019. The 4-H Club and Rural Based Organizations of Region 10 convene again today as a jumpstart for the implementation of the 2019 programs, and planning for the next years.
LUMBAN, Laguna – More than a thousand farmers, extension workers and DA personnel gathered for the Biyaheng Bukid coinciding the launching and turn-over ceremony of the Solar Powered Irrigation System (SPIS) at Barangay Wawa Ibayo yesterday.
In support to the heightened efforts of the Department of Agriculture (DA) to raise awareness on hybrid rice production, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI conducted two batches of Training of Trainers (TOT) on Hybrid Rice with Rice Crop Manager (RCM) Updates and Rice Mechanization on February 6-8, 2019 and February 12-15, 2019, respectively.
TAGBILARAN CITY – Majority of the Learning Site Cooperators in the region which represented the four-islands of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, and Cebu attended the three-day Training on Project Proposal Development last February 13-15, 2019 at ATI-7 Training Complex, Cabawan District, this city.
TAGBILARAN CITY – A three-day Training on Project Proposal Development was held at ATI-7 Training Complex, Cabawan this city last February 13-15, 2019. The objective of the activity is to assist the participants in producing a sound and fundable project.
The local farmer technicians are farmers and or farmer leaders on their respective municipalities that were endorsed by the Municipal agriculturist to the department of agriculture under the national rice program as the extension partners in reaching out the farmers at the grassroots level.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- Thirty (30) participants comprising farmers from Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur and Butuan City, Agusan del Norte received their certificates of completion during the closing ceremony of the Financial Literacy training on February 15, 2019.
LLANERA, NUEVA ECIJA. The Department of Agriculture (DA), headed by Secretary Emmanuel “Manny” Piñol, awarded the solar-powered irrigation system (SPIS) in a ceremonial turnover to the Caridad Norte and Sur Small Water Irrigation System Association in Llanera, Nueva Ecija on February 7, 2019.
“Empowering Women for Sustainable Livelihood”, a Training on Gender and Development with Food Processing was conducted for Rural Improvement Club (RICs) and Women Leaders of Allacapan, Cagayan. It was held last February 11-13, 2019 at ATI – RTC 02, Cabagan, Isabela.
CABAGAN, Isabela. National Corn Quality Achievers Award Hall of Famer, the Local Government Unit of Penablanca consistently being awarded for the said prestigious award under the Department of Agriculture national corn program. The award serves as an inspiration to the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Penablanca for continuously serving their constituents to their best.
The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Central Luzon strengthened Filipino culture and tradition through “Laro ng Lahi” and “Galing ng Lahi” during the two-day celebration for its 32nd anniversary on January 29-30, 2019 in its regional training center in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
ANGELES CITY. The Agricultural Training Institute in Central Luzon granted agri-starter kits to twenty (20) Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and farmer-beneficiaries of the program dubbed as "Responsableng Katutubo at Kabataan Tungo sa Maunlad na Pamayanan (RKKTMP)" during the turnover ceremony held on February 6, 2019 at Sitio Target, Brgy. Sapang Bato, Angeles City.

BUTUAN CITY –The Search for the Regional Rice Achievers Awards for 2018 is underway as the Regional Search Committee recently conducted the evaluation and validation of nominees for the province and municipality/city, Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) and Local Farmer Technician (LFT) categories, respectively last January 28 – February 6, 2019.

Various government agencies in Central Luzon converged in the implementation of two (2) Central Luzon Agriculture and Fishery Extension Network (CLAFEN) – Stakeholders Intervention towards Community Action Projects (SICAP) in the region.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently conducted a 3-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Financial Literacy from February 11-13, 2019.
Twenty (20) Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from the five provinces of Caraga and ten (10) ATI staff joined in the said training.
MANOLO FORTICH, BUKIDNON. The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 10 joins the 3rd Anniversary celebration of the Manolo Fortich Farm Business School Foods and Agri-product Processors Association, Inc. (MFFBSFAPPA, INC.).
LIPA CITY, Batangas –The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI)-National Livestock program regional focal persons recently completed the Training of Trainors (TOT) on Feednovation: 3Ps of Alternative Feedstuff conducted by the ATI-International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ATI-ITCPH) on January 28 -February 1, 2019. Among the trainees was Ms. Florita G.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
