DILIMAN, Quezon City – Webmasters from Agricultural Training Center-Regional Training Centers convened for the updating and enhancements of each websites through "Drupal 7 End-user Boot Camp for ATI-RTC Webmasters" last November 12-15, 2018 at Rural Development Education Center (RDEC).
QUEZON CITY, Metro Manila – Sixteen (16) staff from different regional centers of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) underwent the Resource Speaker Development on Extension Delivery System (EDS) held at the Axiaa Hotel from November 12-16, 2018.
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- November 7, 2018. This second semester of 2018, many of the private and public colleges and universities in Region XII deploy their graduating students for On the Job Training (OJT) purposes in order to expose them and prepare them to real work environment.
Tangub City, Misamis Occidental---The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), as the lead agency in agriculture and fishery extension services, continues to serve and deliver quality services to its stakeholders. It encompasses extension modalities like Learning Sites (LS) that can be venue and source of farming technology for trainings and seminars given to the farmers based on their needs.

Twenty three rural broadcasters for radio and television from Zamboanga, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte and Cotabato recently gathered for a Broadcast Production Workshop at Prawn House Restaurant and Suites, Regatta Square, Pueblo de Oro, Cagayan de Oro City.
OPOL, Misamis Oriental─ ‘Farmers can now teach fellow farmers’ in Opol, Misamis Oriental as the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) produced forty (40) FSTP corn farmer graduates on November 8, 2018 at Poblacion, Opol, Misamis Oriental.
Ormoc City, Leyte - ATI 8 took to the road to spread the word about rice self-sufficiency. In celebration of November as the National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM), ATI 8 mounted a slew of activities to promote the goodness of rice, and how through this staple crop, each Filipino can contribute to the country’s food security and sufficiency program.
Valencia, Bukidnon---Since November is declared as Rice Awareness Month, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Northern Mindanao joined the aforementioned national celebration via info caravan which was held recently in Valencia City, Bukidnon with the theme “Quality Rice, Quality Life”.
BRGY. DESAMPARADOS, Talacogon, Agusan del Sur - Indigenous Peoples (IPs) of Purok Bataran and Purok 3 will receive a livelihood project from the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) after an immersion activity which was a part of the “Sensing Journey on Indigenous People” participated by ten (10) 4H Club members and three (3) ATI – Regional Training Center 13 staff last November 6-9, 2018.
LUCBAN, Quezon – For three (3) consecutive years, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) – Lucban bagged the title as 3rd Kabataang Organic Agriculture (OA) college category. Since 2016, Kabataang OA is an annual quiz bee competition opened for tertiary students taking up agriculture and agriculture-related courses.
BUTUAN CITY - With its goal to strengthen the bond between rice farmers and consumers, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 celebrated the National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM) on November 8, 2018 at Robinsons Place Butuan, Butuan City with the theme: "Quality Rice.
After one month of intensive training, finally, 18 participants composed of Rice Machinery Operation NC II and Agri-Related NC II holders graduated on Trainers Methodology Level I last October 26, 2018 at ATI, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
Tagbilaran City. With the objective of strengthening its disaster readiness and resiliency, the Agricultural Training Institute – Region VII (ATI 7) conducted the “ShakeOut Skills Training in Handling Hazards in support to the Institution’s DRR Measures” last November 5-7, 2018, this city.
Alubijid, MISAMIS ORIENTAL— The plight on declining areas and the unsatisfied rising demand for corn is continuously affecting the agriculture industry in the Northern Mindanao. The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI)being the lead agency for training and extension promotes community participation in addressing the said issue thru Farmers Scientist Training Program ( FSTP).

Bacolod, Lanao del Norte---The role of the Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the region has never been crucial since envisioning food security in the country through excellent extension services in agriculture and fisheries.
Tubod, Lanao del Norte---Recognizing the significance of corn as food and feeds in the region, a training course on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Corn and Cassava transpired recently. Attended by 33 farmer participants from batch I and batch II, the said training was mounted at the PAO-Farmers Learning Center in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
Maramag, Bukidnon---Realizing the importance of imparting knowledge and skills to the grass roots level through extension services, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI-RTC X) recently partnered with LGU-Maramag and various government agencies in the region in the building and establishment of a new training hall in Barangay Bagong Silang in Maramag, Bukidnon.
