The Agricultural Training Institute in Central Luzon (ATI-CL) promoted the extension component of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) during the Agricultural Extension Workers’ Summit 2019 on October 2, 2019 at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, City of Malolos, Bulacan.
Lantapan, Bukidnon--- With Bukidnon touted as the "Food Basket of Mindanao", people from all walks of life would always had their fill of farm produce as they buy fresh veggies and all-natural processed goods from ATI-assisted farms and farmer partners. Case in point is the famed Binahon Agroforestry Farm (BAFF) in Lantapan, Bukidnon.
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato - Enticing the youth towards agriculture has been an uphill battle for agencies of the government. Despite gloomy turnout, efforts are exerted in order to reach that silver lining in the clouds.

CABADBARAN CITY, Agusan del Norte – The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently conducted a three-day training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Cassava Production for cassava farmers of Cabadbaran City on September 25-27, 2019.
TANDAG CITY- More than 500 graduates of the School-on-the-Air (SOA) program marched to get their certificates during the mass graduation held in Tandag City on September 30, 2019.
The SOA graduates comprised farmers, students, Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) and other stakeholders.
ILOILO, City - “This our battle. We must work together to alleviate poverty and hunger,” this is the appeal of Dr. Eden DLR. Bautista, ATI Region 6’s Center Director, to the 280 attendees of the first Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Information Caravan (Info-caravan) for Region 6 on September 24, 2019 in Days Hotel, Iloilo City.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Free Seminar on Care and Maintenance of Fruiting Oyster Mushroom: "Kahit sa Small Room, Kikita ka sa Mushroom" inspire learners in various fields.
CABADBARAN CITY- “This is an excellent training and very inspiring. It is good to see different approaches and new ways to train vegetable growers and give me lots of new ideas and skills, I’m glad to be part of this training.” Allandale B. Idea said during the seminar as one of the learners on bulb onion production.
TANDAG CITY - One of the priorities of the Department of Agriculture is to provide access to agriculture finance to qualified farmers. In order to guide the recipients on how to effectively manage the money from the credit services, ATI-RTC 13 conducted the Financial Literacy Training. It was designed to help farmers understand how income should be spent and managed.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City-The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 recently conducted the Training on Squid Processing and Food Safety Awareness on September 25-27, 2019.
This was actively participated by thirty (30) Rural Improvement Club (RIC) Members, Rural Women, and 4H Club Members from Tubay and Butuan City.
To welcome the -ber month, Doc Eden gave a warm welcome message for the opening program of Training on Good Agricultural Practices for Sustainable Mango Production for Guimaras Mango Growers at NMRDC/ Barangay Millan, Sibunag, Guimaras last September 3, 2019. In the following day, she proceeded to the Joint Graduation Ceremonies for the Farmer Livestock School on Goat Enterprise and the Farmer Livestock School on Sustainable Pig Farming at ATI-RTC VI Training Hall, ASU Compound, Banga, Aklan to give another inspiring message.
The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) conducted training on Vegetable Processing, Packaging and Labelling cum Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on July 24-26, 2019 at ATI-RTC III, Singalat, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. The course was participated by 27 Rural Improvement Club (RIC) officers and members.
TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - To create awareness on Organic Agriculture (OA) production technologies and boost enrollment in agriculture and agriculture-related courses, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Region IV-A in partnership with the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office (DA RFO) IV-A conducted the 2nd Search for Batang OA on September 27, 2019 at ATI Region IV-A Traini

BUTUAN CITY- The School-on-the-Air (SOA) Program on Cacao Production will be holding its Mass graduation on September 30, 2019 in Tandag City.
This is to give due recognition of the efforts exerted by the farmers as enrollees and Coordinators from the different Local Government Units (LGUs) in Surigao del Sur.
TANDAG CITY- The 13 top scorers of the participating Local Government Units (LGUs) of Surigao del Sur take the final examination as Face-off Round on September 12, 2019. This was simultaneously conducted with the Post-Assessment of the School-on-the-Air (SOA) program on Cacao Production in the said province.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
