TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - True its commitment to unify Agriculture and Fisheries Extension (AFE) system in the region, ATI RTC IV-A conducted a series of provincial stakeholders consultations, attended by Municipal Agriculturists and representatives of the Office of the Municipal and City Agriculturist.
Volunteers of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) paid a visit to ATI RTC VI Office to inquire about the Center’s trainings and seminars especially on Organic Agriculture wherein they can participate.

STA. BARBARA, Pangasinan - For the second time around, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center I (ATI-RTC I) served as a training ground to 28 Senior High School (SHS) students from Daniel Maramba National High School (DMNHS). The students have undergone a 60-hour work immersion program from January 18 to February 15, 2019.
School On-the-Air (SOA) in Davao region is back with the course on Goat Production launched earlier today, February 27, 2019, over DXGM Super Radyo 1125 Khz to keep the farmers updated with the latest technologies on goat raising.

GUIUAN, Eastern Samar - ATI-RTC 8 continues its advocacy in helping farmers develop their small businesses through financial literacy trainings. As it moves towards other municipalities in Eastern Samar, many participants now value the importance of financial literacy and learned the different characteristics of a successful agri-enterprise.
STA. MARIA, Isabela. Farmers from Sta. Maria, Isabela and Enrile, Cagayan were encouraged to plant white corn for food since these two municipalities are basically corn producers. A briefing on white corn production was conducted in Enrile, Cagayan and Sta. Maria, Isabela on February 19 and February 21, 2019, respectively.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Regional officers and coordinators of the Rural Based Organization (RBO) and 4-H Club convened last February 21-22, 2019 at the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XIII (ATI-Caraga).
A total of 327 students from the University of Antique (UA) Hamtic Campus attended the e-learning mass graduation held on February 20, 2019.

BUTUAN CITY- More than thirty (30) participants successfully completed the training on image editing and desktop publishing for Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials development held at VCDU Grand Convention, Butuan City on February 18-21, 2019.
Tagum City- Heeding the call for climate action, selected Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers and Magsasaka Siyentista (MS) were enhanced with information communication technology (ICT) gadgets as part of the training course on Climate Information System in support to Techno Gabay Program Implementers.
SAN MATEO, Isabela. The Academic and Technology Integration Education Program (ATI-EP) which started on July 20, 2018 to February 21, 2019 is one of the programs of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) implemented for the young farmers. This is in support to the 4H Program wherein the center continuously implements activities for the promising young farmers.
Borongan, E. Samar - As ATI-RTC 8 continues to educate and strengthen the knowledge and capabilities of its stakeholders on financing and credit, the Center conducted its first training on Financial Literacy for 2019 to widen the awareness of more farmers and fisherfolk in the region in organizing their budget especially in the development of an agri-enterprise.
The Agricultural Training Institute in Central Luzon (ATI-CL) bolstered youth engagement in farming through the conduct of trainings on Mushroom Processing, Packaging and Marketing, and Leadership and Organization Management in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on February 18-19 and 19-20, 2019, respectively.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
