The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Central Luzon (ATI-CL), together with ATI-Central Office, participated in the Global Youth Summit 2020 entitled Change the World with a Kick-Off and Visioneering Conference in Kingsborough International Convention Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on January 10, 2020.
KORONADAL CITY- The management and staff of ATI-RTC XII ended the blissful 2019 with a fun-filled Year-end Assessment, Christmas Party and Team Building Activity on December 19-20, 2019 at The Farm at Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.
Agricultural Training Institute in Central Luzon (ATI-CL), together with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), reviewed the implementation of Farmers’ Field School (FFS) on Modernized Production of High Quality Inbred Rice and Seeds under Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) at TESDA Regional Office III, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on January 14, 2019.
NORALA, South Cotabato- The enactment of the Rice Tarrification Law (RTL) intensified the challenge to increase productivity and competitiveness of Filipino farmers. Under the law, 10 Billion Pesos will be allocated for the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) to support farmers lower their production cost and produce more yield.
SURALLAH, South Cotabato- The School on the Air (SOA) on Dairy Buffalo Production with 16 weekly episodes was launched on October 9, 2019 with more or less 500 enrollees from the Municipalities of Surallah, Banga, Norala, Snto Nino, Lake Sebu, T’boli, Tupi and Tantangan in South Cotabato.
MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur- The hydroponics technology is one of the most sought trainings in ATI-XII nowadays, in fact on October 29, 2019, ATI-XII conducted the Corn and Cassava Industry Forum cum Hydroponics Seminar in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- On the last quarter of 2019, the center conducted two batches of trainings for Swine Raisers in Region XII that produced 44 trained individuals.
PIGCAWAYAN, Cotabato- In response to the agricultural challenges being faced by the farmers in Region XII, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrived in this Municipality on Friday, January 10, to distribute Php58M worth of various agricultural inputs to SocCSKSarGen Farmers.
TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- A total of forty-one (41) rice farmers from Barangay Bukay Pait, this Municipality, have successfully completed the Season-Long AgRiDOC Affiliated Climate Resilient Farm Business School Farmer-Level.

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City-The Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted its orientation and briefing for Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) and enumerators for the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund- Rice Extension Services Program (RCEF-RESP) Baseline survey on January 14, 2020 at the ATI Training Hall, Los Angeles, Butuan City.

MALAYBALAY CITY, Bukidnon – A Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Stakeholders Meeting took place at the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 10 – Provincial Operations’ Center, Bukidnon Office, San Victores Street, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last January 16, 2020. The meeting was presided by Engr. Deliza T. Camato, DA-Provincial Operations Center Head for Bukidnon.
BANGA, Aklan – Selected representatives of Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center specifically FITS Managers in Region 6 gather for a year-start planning on January 16, 2020 at ATI Training Hall, ASU Compound, Banga, Aklan.

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite - Thirty years after the merging of Bureau of Agricultural Extension (BAEx), the Philippine Agricultural Training Council (PATC) and the Philippine Training Centers for Rural Development (PTC-RD), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) commemorates the milestones of delivering agricultural extension to the Filipino farmers and other stakeholders.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Global Partnership for Sustainable Solutions (GPSS) and the Global Action Platform build a partnership with the Department of Agriculture and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) to launch the Caraga Agricultural Convergence Initiative on January 15, 2020.
On a special meeting on January 14, 2020, held at ATI, Panabo, TESDA Regional Director, Engr. Lorenzo G. Macapili, DTE, encouraged the LS and SPA cooperators to embrace the Farm School program of TESDA, to enable them to fully operationalize the Farm Field School (FFS) program under Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF).
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
