LUCENA CITY, Quezon - As part of the festivities of the annual Niyogyugan Festival, hosted by the Provincial Government of Quezon, farmers and fisher folks gathered for the “Araw ng Pamilyang Magsasaka.”
CABAGAN, Isabela. The agricultural extension workers have a critical role in creating awareness on climate change to the farmers as the most vulnerable sector. A three-day training on climate change advocacy was held for the agricultural extension workers of region 02.

Tagbilaran City – The Agricultural Training Institute – VII (ATI-7) being the training arm of the Department of Agriculture is happy to announce the recent blessing and turn-over of two-story institutional building on August 15, 2019. Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon---Showcasing knowledge sharing and benchmarking which intended to expose and immerse participants to the different Learning Sites (LS) of Northern Mindanao, a group of farmers from Siquijor recently did their expository tour on organic farms in the region.
Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental---As the training and extension arm of the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) through its centers is currently conducting series of financial literacy training to the identified provinces in the country where farmers are the top most priority.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – True to its mandate of harmonizing the agriculture and fishery extension system in the region, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 13 conducted the first semester meeting of the Regional Agriculture and Fishery Extension Network (RAFEN) yesterday.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
