LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – With the theme “We make change work for women,” the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII joins the nation as it celebrates Women’s Month through a Zumba Exercise activity on March 4, 2019.
The Organic Agriculture (OA) Focal Persons of Central Luzon underscore healthy farming in the region through taking part in the Enhancement Course on Organic Technologies in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on February 27 to March 1, 2019.
LAGUNA, Philippines – The Agricultural Training Institute-RTC 13 was recognized during the 25th year anniversary of the Farmer Scientists Training Program (FSTP) on February 27, 2019 at the Agricultural Systems Institute, CAFS, UPLB, Laguna.

This is due to the failure of practicing key activities especially in a business such as keeping farm records, monitoring their personal and business finances, and keeping track of their production cost.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted a one-day stakeholders’ consultation on February 26, 2018.
This was participated by 60 participants comprising Provincial and Municipal Corn and Cassava Focal persons, farmers and personnel from the Department of Agriculture (DA) - Caraga.
ATI-CL, Villar Sipag Foundation intensify campaign on the use of climate smart technologies through CSFBS
The Agricultural Training Institute in Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with the Villar Sipag Foundation, intensified the campaign on the use of climate smart technologies through the conduct of Climate Smart Farm Business School (CSFBS) on February 11-22, 2019 in Otel Pampanga, City of San Fernando, Pampanga with 31 farm owners from regions 1, 2, 3, and CAR as participants.
SILANG, Cavite - Chief of the Partnerships and Accreditation Services Section (PASS), Ms. Sherylou Alfaro shared the Center's efforts in accrediting farms geared towards farm tourism.
SAN MATEO, Isabela. The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 02 (ATI-RTC 02) conducted two batches of Capability Enhancement Training for Local Farmer Technicians (LFTs) from different municipalities of region 02.
BUTUAN CITY- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 participated in the 1st Semester meeting that was conducted by the Department of Agriculture- Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) 13.

SANTIAGO CITY. In line with Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol’s directive to make agriculture more accessible to people, the ATI-RTC 02 conducted a Free Seminar on Mushroom Production and Edible Gardening. This was conducted at Villa Gonzaga Center for Agronomy at Brgy. Villa Gonzaga, Santiago City, Isabela last February 28, 2019.

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna- A total of 50 participants gathered for a two-day "Assessment and Operational Planning Workshop for Enhanced Farmers’ Information and Technology Service (FITS) Centers" held at the City of Springs Resort and Hotel, Los Baños, Laguna.

BUTUAN CITY- More than twenty (20) radio plugs were produced by the Information Officers from Line Agencies of the Department of Agriculture during the Radio Broadcast Messaging Harmonization Workshop held at Hotel Luciana, San Jose St., Butuan City on February 26- 28, 2019.
SAN MATEO, Isabela. As hybrid rice trainers and technology promoters, staff of the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center 02 (ATI-RTC 02), Bureau of Plant Industry – National Seed Quality Control Services (BPI-NSQCS) and PhilRice came together for a training on hybrid rice. It was conducted on February 26-28, 2019 at ATI-RTC 02, Malasin, San Mateo, Isabela.
SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya. With the aim of increasing productivity and promoting hybrid rice, series of technical briefing were conducted at Quezon and Osmena, Solano, Bagabag and Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya. It was held on February 7, 8, 21 and 27, 2019 respectively.
Tagbilaran City – Fifty-Five (55) Farmers, Agriculture Extension Workers, and Agri enthusiasts attended the free seminar on Beekeeping held at the Island City Mall (ICM) Activity Center, Tagbilaran City on February 27, 2019.
To realize responsible, safe and efficient healthy food supply chain in the region, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 10 ( ATI-RTC 10) conducted a Training on Food Safety: Food Quality and Safety System.
The training was joined and participated by 38 Meat inspectors and Livestock Technicians from the different municipalities in region 10.
Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves. This is the ATI Today, more committed to bring you extension services beyond boundaries.
