LAKE SEBU, SOUTH COTABATO – As several landowners and farmers in the municipality of Lake Sebu have shifted to rubber farming and production not long ago due to its huge market potentials, the same need for proper training was deemed necessary to boost income.
CALATAGAN, Batangas - Corn and sugarcane are two of the most important crops in this municipality, with one-third of farmers, depending on corn and sugarcane as their major source of livelihood. However, due to traditional farming practices on harvesting, farmers are used to burn corn and sugarcane by-products; thus, contributing to the effects of greenhouse gases.
