Ifugao’s Acting PA is 2017 Most Outstanding OA Focal Person

The Cordillera Administrative Region has earned another star in the field of organic agriculture as Ms. Catherine V. Buenaventura, the acting provincial agriculturist of the province of Ifugao, was awarded as the 2017 most outstanding organic agriculture focal person in the national level. Upon receiving her award Ms. Buenaventura thanked the stakeholders of the program. She said, “I was able to get this because of the help of all stakeholders in the OA program, kasama ang ATI.”

ES22PPP Goes Full Blast in Natonin and Paracelis

The Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) Extension Support to the 22 Priority Provinces in the Philippines (ES22PPP) in the municipalities of Natonin and Paracelis in Mt. Province is now on its peak of implementation. The ATI-Cordillera Administrative Region (ATI-CAR), in partnership with the provincial local government of Mt. Province and the municipal local government of the municipalities of Natonin and Paracelis through the Poverty Alleviation and Needs Assessment Team (PANAT) is now conducting the series of trainings previously identified by the farmer-beneficiaries of the project.

Processing for a Healthy Living: PWDs of La Trinidad Train on Soybean Processing with Good Manufacturing Practices

Supportive to the welfare of Physically Challenged Persons (PWD), the Agricultural Training Institute-Cordillera Administrative Region (ATI-CAR) facilitated a training on soy bean processing with good manufacturing practices for the physically challenged of La Trinidad, Benguet. The activity is one of the interventions of the ATI-CAR under the special concerns. There were 21 PWD-participants from the different barangays of La Trinidad who joined the activity.
