Region IX’s 4-H Special Learners’ Club; A First of Its Kind

Organizing 4-H Club organizations has long been an initiative of our LGU partners to engage the youth in agriculture and improving their social participation. But organizing a 4-H Club for children with disabilities is truly a breakthrough innovation in the rural based organizations (RBOs) scene. This comes with a huge challenge for the coordinators and volunteer leaders on how to come up with innovative interventions to help strengthen and sustain the club.
