BAYBAY CITY, Leyte - One of ATI’s thematic programs is to enhance agriculture fisheries extension knowledge products and services. ATI-RTC 8 does this by providing information not just to clients under the agricultural sector but also to young people, students, teachers and many more!

During ATI’s 33rd Anniversary, ATI-RTC 8 launched the e-Lounge, a facility that provides different information, education and communication (IEC) materials and access to online agricultural information resources.

Ms. Melinda Petalcorin, Information Officer II, shared during the launch that the E-Lounge will provide clients with various services such as access to various knowledge products like IEC materials, audio-visual content, and e-learning courses. “Basically, we are making information on agriculture and fisheries more accessible to clients.”

The e-Lounge is open to farmers, extension workers, students and other stakeholders who wish to learn and relax at the same time. The area is open from 8AM-5PM from Mondays to Fridays. The center also encourages its staff to promote this facility during trainings and even on social media.

The ATI-RTC 8 e-Lounge launching was held on January 29, 2020 as part of the activities of the 33rd ATI Anniversary Celebration.
