Young farmer participants present their output in one of their training activities under marketing topic.

BANGA, Aklan – "I am glad that I have given the chance to be part of this training. Thank you ATI-RTC VI for giving us this training. Actually, I became a member of 4H two years ago but not involved in any 4H activities, but lately I have seen the opportunities of young farmers when it comes to farming through attending trainings and seminars. I would also like to thank the staff of ATI for giving us the support and for attending all of our needs. Overall rating for this training is excellent”, these were the imparting words of Geno C. Esoy, one of the 30 participants that were composed of 4-H Club Members in the Region, during the Regional Training on Agripreneurship for Young Farmers held last October 23-25, 2019 at ATI Region 6’s Training Hall, ASU Compound, Banga, Aklan.

Mr. Jenomar R. Bayona, 4-H Provincial Federation President of Aklan, discussed the topics on Marketing as a Concept and Business Improvement Plan. Through his topic discussion the young farmer participants were oriented about the basics of entrepreneurship that are essential in the said endeavor.

Mr. Marlo C. Cabanero, 4-H Regional Federation President of Western Visayas, went in-depth in marketing with topics on Product Naming and Branding, Effective Selling, Promoting Product, and Taking Care of Customer and Business Improvement Plan.

After the training, the participants were expected to be capable in Agricultural Entrepreneurship and to share the learnings and experiences in their respective municipalities.
