One of the members expresses her thoughts during the RAFEN first semester meeting.

Twenty-five Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Network (RAFEN) members take part during the RAFEN VI first semester meeting at Parvana Inn & Suites, Sibalom, Antique on April 29-30, 2019.

Ms. Alma Gorero, Chairperson of RAFEN VI, oriented the new members on the purpose and functions of RAFEN and updated the existing members regarding membership status. While, Ms. Eraldgen Bernaldo, Planning Officer II of ATI Region 6, discussed the mechanics and procedures of RAFEN Output Monitoring and Information System (OMIS) that will be used in the monitoring and regular reporting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Extension (AFE) outputs of the member agencies.

Part of this meeting is the exchange of ideas on the issues and concerns that affect the efficient planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of extension services in the Region. They also scheduled a special consultation meeting that will focus on the presentation of 2020 targets and harmonization.
