BANGA, Aklan – On March 17, 2020 at about 2:00 in the afternoon, Dr. Eden DLR. Bautista called for a Special Meeting together with the Training Center Superintendent I, Section Chiefs, Planning Officer and Human Resource Officer, Dr. Bautista discussed the possible option for the Center operation especially on the work arrangement among staff as mandated precautionary measures to be followed on the current situation of COVID19.
Considering all the Memorandum Circular coming from the Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Department of Agriculture (DA), and Agricultural Training Institute, the management decided to cancel all trainings and other activities scheduled in the region starting March 16, 2020 up to April 15, 2020.
In terms of work arrangement, the top management decided to follow the “work from home” scheme starting March 19 up to April 3, 2020. At the same time, a skeletal force was established to ensure that the Center’s operation are still on track. The total number of employees was divided into five groups and each group will report on its respective day of duty. Employees from the Province of Iloilo, Antique and Capiz were not included in the skeletal workforce since transportation within the region had already started to suspend their operation. It was also agreed that the Center’s vehicle will ferry ATI staff on duty to minimize exposure and ensure safety of staff.
For the meantime, work plans of the employees and Job Order are being collected for submission at the Central Office and Regional Office of CSC.
