NEW ATI-RTC VI ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND 4-H LEARNING HUB UNLOCK FOR FARMERS AND YOUTH

BANGA, Aklan – Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Region 6 unlocks the doors of its new administration building and 4-H Learning Hub to continuously provide quality extension services to the farmers, fisher folks, rural women, and youths on January 17, 2020 after the Inauguration/ Dedication of the buildings in its new location inside the Aklan State University (ASU) Compound, Banga, Aklan.

Hon. Carlito S. Marquez, Representative of the first district of Aklan, led the unveiling of the two buildings along with Dr. Glenn B. Gregorio, Executive Director of Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA); Dr. Danilo E. Abayon, former University President of ASU; Dr. Arlene Flores, ATI Managers (ATIMA) President; Dr. Eden DLR. Bautista, Center Director of ATI Region 6; former Center Directors and Employees of the said center; Learning Site (LS) Cooperators; ASU Officials; and 4-H Club Regional Officers. In his message, Hon. Marquez expressed the contribution of agriculture sector in achieving progress in the province.

Former Center Director Dr. Ambrosio R. Villorente, Sr. brought back the memories including the hardships and milestones that they have been through just to deliver the best extension services to its clienteles. He further shared his utmost joy after seeing these developments which is far way different from the previous office of ATI Region 6. Other guests such as Dr. Gregorio and Dr. Flores gave their well-wishes and gratitude during their inspirational messages.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bautista expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped a lot to make the event meaningful most especially to ASU Officials and Administrators. The new ATI Building and 4H Learning Hub are now situated in the one-hectare lot near the university entrance gate parallel to the Center’s Dormitory Building and Training Hall.
