The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center VI based at Aklan State University Compound in Banga, Aklan. The regionalization of ATI operations in 2004 brought about the convergence of Region VI, The Fifty Three (53) strong RTC staff , thirty four (34) regular and nineteen (19) Job orders extend their services to the six provinces of Region 6, namely Aklan, seventeen (17) municipalities with a total of 327 barangays; Capiz, sixteen (16) municipalities and 1 city a total of 473 barangays; Iloilo, forty two (41) municipalities and 3 cities with a total of 1,091 barangays; Antique, composed of eighteen (18) municipalities with a total of 590 barangays; Guimaras, 5 municipalities with a total of 96 barangays and Negros Occidental with nineteen (19) municipalities and thirteen (13) cities with a total of 662 barangays.

 


     

    AKLAN (Akean) (Aklanon pronunciation: ak'yan) (Akeanon: Probinsiya it Akean; Hiligaynon: Kapuoran sang Aklan; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Aklan) is a province in the Philippines located in the Western Visayas region. Its capital is Kalibo. The province is situated in the northwest portion of Panay Island, bordering Antique to the southwest, and Capiz to the east. Aklan faces the Sibuyan Sea and Romblon province to the north.

    CAPIZ (Capiznon: Kapuoran nang Capiz; Hiligaynon: Kapuoran sang Capiz; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Capiz) is a province located in the region of Western Visayas in the central section of the Philippines. Its capital is the City of Roxasand is located at the northeastern portion of Panay Island, bordering Aklan to the north, Antique to the west, and Iloilo to the south. Capiz faces the Sibuyan Sea to the north.

    ILOILO (Hiligaynon: Kapuoran sang Iloilo; Kinaray-a: Kapuoran kang Iloilo; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Iloilo) is a province located in the region of Western Visayas in the Philippines. Iloilo occupies a major southeast portion of the Visayan island of Panay and is bordered by the province of Antique to the west, Capiz to the north, the Jintotolo Channel to the northeast, the Guimaras Strait to the east, and the Iloilo Strait and Panay Gulf to the southwest.

    ANTIQUE (Kinaray-a: Kapuoran kang Antique; Hiligaynon: Kapuoran sang Antique; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Antique) is a province of the Philippines located in the region of Western Visayas. The province capital is San Jose, the most populous town in Antique. The province is situated in the western section of Panay Island and borders Aklan, Capiz and Iloilo to the east, while facing the Sulu Seato the west.

    GUIMARA [ɡimaˈɾas] (Hiligaynon: Kapuoran sang Guimaras; Kinaray-a: Probinsiya kang Guimaras; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Guimaras) is an island province in the Philippines located in the region of Western Visayas. Among the smallest provinces, its capital is Jordan. The province is situated in the Panay Gulf, between the islands of Panay and Negros. To the northwest is the province of Iloilo and to the southeast is Negros Occidental. The whole island is part of the Metro Iloilo-Guimaras, one of the twelve metropolitan areas of the Philippines.

    NEGROS OCCIDENTAL (Hiligaynon: Negros Nakatundan; Filipino: Kanlurang Negros), also known as Occidental Negros or Western Negros, is a province located in the region of Western Visayas, in the Philippines. It occupies the northwestern half of the large island of Negros, and borders Negros Oriental, which comprises the southeastern half. Known as the "Sugarbowl of the Philippines", Negros Occidental produces more than half the nation's sugar output.
