GOA, Camarines Sur - The Agricultural Training Institute –Regional Training Center V ( ATI-RTC V) held a three-day training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) on Cassava Production which was attended by 33 farmers from different barangays of Goa, Camarines Sur. They were the first batch of farmers to such training in the Bicol region
MASBATE CITY, Masbate- To further boost mango production and quality management in this island province, the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center V (ATI-RTC V) held a training on mango production, processing, packaging, labeling with good agricultural practices (GAP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)/ hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP).

VIRAC, Catanduanes- The Bicol chapter of Rural Improvement Club (RIC) held its annual consultation meeting and election of officers. It also underwent capability-enhancement training for its new officers and coordinators under the auspices of Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center V (ATI-RTC V).
In 2015, the Provinces of Catanduanes and Sorsogon ranked 16th and 20th respectively among the Twenty Two Provinces in the Philippines with Highest Poverty Incidence.
In ensuring food security for Bicolano farm families and in winning the war against poverty, ATI-TIER 2 Project came to life, entitled "Increasing Agricultural Productivity Towards Food Security and Poverty Alleviation" Extension Support to Twenty Two Priority Provinces in the Philippines (ES22PPP).
